Thanks on the spare!!! What are everyone's plans on heading out to HPR?

 

I am going out there, so I will bring some of my tools, even though I am only going to watch. Rich, do you need me to bring a torque wrench or do you have one?
Robert since I am coming down too, do you want to meet somewhere to drive down to the Starbucks?

 

Come out and spend a few hours with us on Sunday, bring a chair and something cool to drink.

I figure the weather will change around 3pm, so plan ahead.

Should be a cool day with high clouds and mid 80s.

Nice day for track day. Hot, but damn I had to use my own spares. Sure glad I had them.

Pictures later, I have to unpack the MINI, I bring out to much crap to the track.

Thanks to everyone who came out and ran and all the folks who came out to watch. We had a lot of MINIs on track and in the paddock.

Don, you said that the Lotus club is doing this again in Sept?

 

I was there for a minute, had fun watching the Lotus group run before I had to scoot. I had to be in Boulder at noon so I didn't hav time to hang out or socialize, drove by the parked MINI's but nobody was around. I guess I didn't realize how far out HPR is so my afternoon plans got in the way. I must say I was impressed by the Lotus Elise, those cars came around the turn by the east bleachers with some serious speed. Not sure if the drivers or cars made the difference but they looked to be pretty darn quick around the track using every bit of the apron as they exited that corner.

 

Mojo69 that was your Red MC40 then right we saw out by itself?

 

Yeah that was me. I parked close to the bleachers so my friend wouldn't have to walk far. He wasn't feeling good, breakfast and the sun had him reeling.

 

Mojo69, sorry we missed an introduction. Next time.

Rich, I understand the next one will be in September, we might think about doing locos' day or Saturday with CECA.

I will keep my ears open and wait on emails from John or Bill, the loco and ceca guys.
