The fourth large Denver GTG of 2009 will be on Saturday, April 25th, 2009 @ 11:00am.
March pulled great numbers even with the massive spring snow storm days days prior...

Downtown Golden
11th Ave & Jackson Street
Public Parking Garage

Directions:
* I-70 west to HY-58
* HY-58 west to Washington Street
* Washington south to 11th Street
* 11th Street east to Jackson Street
* Jackson street south to entrance of garage (first right; east facing entrance)
* drive slowly and carefully around and around to top level

We'll be on the top level of the garage to catch rays; see map for details:

Tentative Schedule:
* meet up @ 11:00am
* converse / eat lunch (individual efforts; nothing is reserved) till 1:00pm
* hold drivers meeting for drive @ 1:10pm
* leave for drive @ ~1:20pm - 1:30pm

PLEASE NOTE: drive will be determined on location pending previous weather, consensus of drivers, and attendance!

PLEASE come with a positive attitude; many are meeting each other for the first time.
We don't anyone to crash the fun in the first of the year... that's never good!

NOTE There will be no reservations set; this will be a "free-for-all" event.

NOTE: Also, there will be a few OBDII VAG-COMs and other scanners being brought if you need a scan. Just ask and we'd be glad to help fellow owners out.

I like how this one is on the top of the parking garage! Also the convertible roll-out party at Schomp the same day. Might conflict or might be able to make both.

 

Make it work! We need the minis to show up again. At least there were 4 last time.

 

Looks like the 09 Vert Roll-out Party is going to start around noon. Major conflict as all MINI owners have the proper priorities.
I've got a Re-Build Denver project on 4/25 so I can do neither.
I will however be thinking of both events as I smash thumbs and cut fingers.

Whaaat? Earthquake? Tornado? Godzilla vs. Mothra? Didn't see anything on the news. Cept for Cuttler going to Detroit.

It is a nation-wide event and in Denver our company has volunteered for a house. We will be spending the day putting in insulation, grab bars, doors and windows. I'm not much into charity events, but this may be fun - plus the company said they will reimburse us for any lost or smashed fingers/toes etc.

Okay all. Back by popular demand, here is the information for the Northern Colorado crew's convoy to the Golden GTG.

We will be meeting initially at the Barnes and Noble at Centerra at 9:00am to head out by 9:30am sharp. We will then drive to the Best Buy at 104th and I-25 and meet up with more people, arriving there about 10:00am. After a quick grab of them, we should make the GTG by 11:00.

Please post up if you will be joining this drive and where you will be meeting us at. I will have the Audi this time, so there will be no missing me.

I really hope to see some minis out here. The Golden GTG is one of the best of the year as it yeilds the greatest drive after. Would be great to see some minis intermixed with the Audis, VWs, BMWs, and other cars.
