We would really like your participation in the party. We have had the very nice dining facilities donated and the club is picking up half the tab for the banquet. We do have a minimum of 50 people so we would love to have you join us for a few hours with friends, food and fun.

Now that the holidays are behind us, it's time for our own MINI5280 celebration of 2008 -- The After The Holidays Party. This will be a fun, relaxed event for the entire family on a lazy Sunday evening (Jan. 18th). Socialize with your fellow MINI5280 club members. Mt Vernon Country Club is catering the dinner buffet, which consists of carved roast round of beef, Asiago breast of chicken, penne pasta with grilled eggplant and fresh vegetables, rice and potato, salad bar, rolls and beverage. The price is normally over $42 per plate ($21 for children), but MINI5280 is picking up over 50% of the cost. Your price is only $19.95 (adult) and $9.95 for children (3-11 yrs). A cash bar will be available. Casual dress (wear your MINI stuff!). Nice, MINI-related door prizes will be given away, including several for kids only. More people means more door prizes. Every attendee will receive a brand new MINI5280 magnetic grille badge (produced by CooperFlags).

Well folks, Kendall and I are both laid up sick - picked up a cold/flu virus on our travels last week. We're not up to coming to the party, and we don't want to pass this junk on to anyone else. We'll be wishing everyone else a great time tonight!

That was a very good venue and dinner, nice group of people.

Did anyone get a picture of the food? I only took a few of the 5280 folks and a car shot or two.
