Great news Don I'm so happy for you. You will be missed on MGTY though. Luckily Rick will be along for photos and you won't have to rely on mine.

Last time I was in Yellowstone was 1969 & the Astronauts had just landed on the moon. People stood around in the Old Faithful Camp-ground listening to their radios saying, "Imagine that, men are walking on the moon." Then a bear got someone's cooler & things got real exciting!

Today I think that 14 mini's going to Yellowstone together is way more exciting than just another Luner Landing would be!

Oh ya, watch out for the Moose! Saw one chase a dozen tourists up a hill after they got too close w/ cameras!

Hope you have a great time, wish we too were going along!

Oh well, someone had to stay back & hold down the fort.

Right Don?

I hope everyone has recovered. 1,600 miles and one squished deer later I have some great memories and a renewed appreciation for Yellowstone, the Tetons and Wyoming in general. Thanks to everybody who went along and perhaps we can do it again next year.

We all chose to run over a deer laying in the road (well except for Rick). Actually chose is not quite right and technically the deer wasn't laying it was road-kill.
I'm still finding fur and pieces-parts on the MINI.

Well, I'm not sorry to have missed out on the deer....we made it back safely from Jackson today and actually got a couple of hours of sunny weather in the Grand Tetons Monday afternoon.

Chuck, thanks for having the idea for this trip and putting it together. We had such a great time despite the unpredictable weather. BTW, we ended up having dinner at the same brewpub in Jackson. I will post photos soon.

MGTY Photos Posted

I've posted my MGTY photos to SmugMug. I'm still in the process of arranging them and adding captions. Take a look!

I've weeded through the 600 or so pictures to find and adjust the best ones.

They are Here.

If you want any of the full size ones, PM or email me and I can send it over. We had a great time and wish we were still out on the open road.

Lots of nice pictures

I am not disappointed. Love all the great pictures. Even a nice vid of Old Faithful.

Almost like coming along, but not quite. Thanks for all the great pictures.

I have some videos too but they take forever to post on Picasa. I may add some to Facebook.

Thanks for the photos Teena and Ingrid. I put all the photos I took on to Facebook. I just knew I didn't have to make any feeble photographic efforts since everyone else was capturing the moment. Thanks again everyone.

I finally got my photos uploaded; you can find them in my gallery, HERE. There are about 300 of them all told, some far more interesting than others.

Thanks to everyone that made this trip great.
