Club Meeting - June 10, 7:00 PM @ Ralph Schomp

This month's meeting will be held at Ralph Schomp at 7:00 PM. Go to the west door of the Honda building and head up stairs. Be sure to indicate if you plan to attend on the calendar so we can get a head-count for pizza.
www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=840&day=2008-6-10&c=2
We will be discussing club business, see some pictures from the Dragon and eat some pizza and ... something else, let's see what was it?
Of course, make the selection for our Summer Solstice ride! So far the entries look like this:
Teena - Wonder Tower (of terror).
Jonathan - Sunrise/Sunset (Irving Wallace book?) or SSSS
Ryan - Trail Ridge Road (of terror)
Mike - Castlewood Canyon (of terror)
Michael - So far about 50 entries, none of which he has driven or can actually find on a map.
Corn Kernel (Zyamfier) - Carhenge (in true Druid attire)
Jacob - Won't say but promises to knock your socks off (of terror).

So think about your entry and get it too me so I can schedule your presentation. Be creative, it is after all the longest day of the year!
BTWWINNERGETSAFULLDETAILOFTHIERMINIBYTHEPRESIDENT.

PS - Pizza will be served at our meeting!

Looks like the Wonder Tower might have to wait.
I can't make weekday meetings in Denver.

Use a proxy. I can't sell it as well as you could, but I can give it a go if you would like me too. (secretly hoping a cabrio owner wins detailing prize)

Is this a dog friendly meeting? Bailey is interested in going. She promises to be a (mostly) good little bulldog if she's allowed to attend.

We'll be there for sure; I need to collect my prize.

That's two heads for your count. .... ... does this make Chuck a headhunter?

Scribblepaper;

I say call AAA & get them to bring Cooper & Mini to the meeting too. What Mini Dealership could ever tell 2 cute dogs named Cooper & Mini they are not welcome? Then Bailey gets in by association, as well.

Hmmmmm?? I don't know that we've ever had dogs upstairs in the meeting room? I'll have to check on that. If the meeting were downstairs in the showroom it would be NO problem.

No biggie -- I had assumed that it was in the showroom when I posted. Bays doesn't need to come, but I do need to take the time to bring her up to see you again! She loves coming to Ralph Schomp. She gets star treatment and loves every minute of it!

Right now I'm laughing at her because she's backing way up. She's going to attempt to give a little run then jump on the couch. She's still a little uncertain about doing stuff like that, although she is getting much better about it! She is still babying her knee after her ACL surgery.

It looks like Danielle and I will be able to make the meeting. Looking forward to meeting you all, even though we won't have our MINI for a month or so.

Yeah we had some great laughs last weekend, didn't we? You got to see how weird Bailey really is when we met at Starbucks! She's a spoiled bulldog who doesn't like to sit on the ground so we had to pull a chair up to our table so that Bailey could sit in a chair at the table with the rest of us. That is how she likes it best! lol

I'm glad that bulldogs can't fit into pockets, otherwise I probably would have lost Bailey many times over! She's too cute for her own good! lol

I want to take her on a ride, but she can't go on long ones yet. Her leg will get too stiff from the ACL repair surgery. So we will wait until she's healed enough for that!

Are you aware that it's against the law to bring an animal other than a service dog into an eating establishment much less seat them on a chair at the table.

Outside is good, inside isn't.

Were you aware that most starbucks have seating available OUTSIDE? That is where we sit.

And who said that we were inside? I simply said that we were at starbucks. That does not imply that we were inside. Like most responsible dog owners I have a pretty good understanding of where my dog is allowed and where she is not. If I am unsure then I always ASK before taking her.

Only question I have is where we should all expect to park? Is there going to be enough parking at the dealership, or should we park at the school?

In my best Alice Cooper voice ...

School's out for summer
School's out forever
School's been blown to pieces
Schools out completely

I'm parking across the street at the school.
