Rich, Teena,

Great series of pictures. Loved the movie clip with great sounds off the Garden of the Gods formations. I guess I need to deepen the tone of Scooter's exhaust.

Great commentary, too!

Don

I'm sorry I missed it. Based on the great photos (and snarky commentary) it looks like it was a real fun time.

Great photos guys! Glad that everyone had a good time!

The best part is that the run has got me thinking about MITM less than a month out. Can't wait to motor again!

Trip report: Bishop's Castle Ride, 7-22-07.

The ride was great, everyone seemed to enjoy. The group from Denver was already waiting at Star Bucks in Colo. Springs by the time I got there at 9:20A! Anxious, is the only word to describe.... A brief drivers meeting announcement that Mike was the trip Leader in the Black Mini, Jacob was Co-leader in the Pyr8shp, everyone was to stay behind me & in front of the Pirate, anyone getting out of line would be shot by the Pirate! (no one got shot)

First stop was a potty stop at the rest area getting off I-25, exit 74 (at the suggestion of jsouz, last chance for flush toilets, much appreciated by the women).

Second stop was the picnic at Lake Isabel, Jonathon & Darcy lead the group to the lake shore to a shady spot.

Third stop was B.C. & the group was done exploring 30 minutes earlier than the plan, most wanted an ice-cream stop added.

Fourth stop was intended for ice-cream in Florence, none was found so I promised it at the next stop.

Fifth stop was Garden of the Gods Trading post, w/ Ice Cream! I was informed that this was my last chance to provide ice-cream or there would be a mutiny & the Pirate would be taking over!

Last stop was Zio's italian resturant for those who could make it.

We got an unexpected extra treat at Bishop's Castle when Mr.. Bishop went "OFF" emotionally. Shelly from Schomp had just gone over to ask him something, then a biker came up asked him something that triggered the unexpected reaction. All this just minutes after jsouz was telling the group about Mr.. Bishop being prone to not taking his Meds...... Wow!

Mike & Sarah

Thanks everyone for coming & for the great photos!

You can just edit your post and remove the tags that are showing up. Going forward all you need to do if you are composing in MS Word is the following:

1) Compose your message in MS Word
2) Select all the copy you want and copy to your clipboard
3) Open Notepad and paste from your clipboard
4) Select all the copy you want in Notepad and copy to your clipboard
5) Paste into a new post on NAM

This strips out all the tags that MS Word inserts around text.

I've finally finished uploading my photos as well:

http://kigiphoto.smugmug.com/gallery/3205874

And I've also added all the gallery links I've seen so far to the MINI 5280 Ride Photo link page:

Enjoy!

Very nice, great! We have four very fine sets of pictures. Kendall, thanks for putting them up on the 5280.org website.

I really enjoyed your Bishop's pictures, very creative and I am glad I did (NOT) take those pictures (the high ones). That ladder to the tower area did not look very sturdy.

Nice job, great pictures, fun run.

I enjoyed trying to play tag with you up to Westminster, but you kept getting lost in the traffic ahead of me.
