Talking [SOLD] Ported GTD 47 Dominator N14/N18 Turbocharger & Supporting Mods

Category: Drivetrain
Price: $0
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R55, R56, R57, R58, R59, R60
Location (Region): NorthEast
Item Condition: Used

I am selling my used GTD billet high-flow turbocharger. I've used it on my R56 JCW which is a hell of an upgrade over the stock turbocharger. Only reason why I am selling is because I am changing the turbocharger out for one that is a different size. This turbo pulls STUPID WELL, and puts down some serious numbers. If you're looking to make 300+ hp, this is the turbocharger for you! With my stupidly grippy tires AND my limited slip differential, it would spin both tires easily in 1st, 2nd, and even 3rd if the tires weren't warm. The MCS and even JCW turbos taper off their power around 5000RPM which is pretty disappointing. This turbo pulls hard all of the way to redline, upshift, and then does it again! This is a direct bolt on for all N14/N18 MCS and JCW turbos. I will be including the turbocharger, along with the intake tube and pipe for this turbo as they are larger than the OEM components. You will have everything you need to make some serious power. This turbo alone retails for $1949 USD. Pm me if you have any other questions.

As per the JMTC website:
JMTC GTD upgrade turbocharger is engineered to be the most reliable and high-performance upgrade turbo for the 2007 to 2016 R series Mini S and JCW. This is the number 1 upgrade for your Mini or Peugeot and gives you extreme power for all applications above 280hp.
GTD upgrade
-47mm Billet compressor
-Extrude Port (All surfaces extrude flow ported)
-High Flow GTX Exhaust Turbine
-High strength K04 internals
-Upgraded 360deg bearing
-Designed for higher pressure
-High temperature alloy turbine housing
-Dual scrolling turbine housing
-Water cooled bearing housing

Product Info
The JMTCs Extreme GTD upgrade high pressure high-flow dual scrolling turbo uses our huge 47mm compressor to give you full boost at the top end. This turbocharger delivers high torque and high boost at the higher RPM which is perfect for the track, or any off-road application and extreme street applications. The 47mm and huge GTX exhaust turbine is designed to give you extra boost at the top end. Our Huge high flow GTX exhaust helps the exhaust flow and prevents the torque loss you see with the small stock K03 turbine. If you are looking for an extreme track, strip dominating, extreme street upgrade that delivers full race performance this is the turbo for you. It will deliver great torque, and last longer than any other turbo on the market. For all applications we recommend one of our aftermarket exhaust systems which will allow this turbo to reach its full potential.

Feel free to ask questions regarding this turbo. You do not need to upgrade internals to run this turbo on your MCS or JCW.

I thought your username looked familiar. I've watched your YouTube channel.

Didn't you buy this turbo as damaged B-stock for $550 CAD? With a busted wastegate nipple and a dented housing? Or is it a different turbo from this video:

I've enjoyed watching the build as well. O C D It takes one to know one.

I'd love to see some videos of it putting down power! I've been waiting a long time for them.

Awesome build.

I am running a custom intake as there are no 'kits' or anything for this turbo.

Yeah this car has been through a lot lately. You don't realize it until you get into it, but if something has been winter driven, there are countless more headaches that you have to deal with. I'm in the process of replacing all of my brake lines because they've swelled and seized.
