I am looking to buy a Carbon fiber R53 or R56 jcw shift **** and a R53 jcw carbon handbrake handle. I seem to keep missing the one on the market place. If you have one of these laying around, please let me know. If no luck in a couple of weeks, I will just buy new.!

I thought R56 & R53 ***** weren't transferable? Different diameter shift levers I think... Way?

 

There is a post on the here that shows with an adapter, the R56 will work. The latching location is lower by about 3/8" on the R56 compared to the R53. Apparently the diameter is the same or close enough that it is not an issue.

 

Good to know! I'll keep my eyes open for R56 JCW shifters for ya!
