Don't have them... The platic tip of my stock hand brake
bugs me though. It looks so cheap. With the leather hand
brake, is the tip chrome? I'd maybe go for it, if so... in fact,
really, I see no need for the grip to be leather, I just want a
chrome tip.

The hand brake kit comes with two tips: silver or dark grey. No chrome, however. We chose the silver tip to match the silver plastic piece between the handle and the gaiter.
$45 and $90 installed sounds really cheap. The parts alone were more than that through Classic MINI for the shifter (**** and gaiter) and e-brake (handle and gaiter). We installed them ourselves in a couple of hours, taking our time.
