I purchased this Alta Accessport a little bit ago but I’ve come to realize that no matter what I do to my R56, I just simply do not like the car. It’s going back to stock for resale. This was used on a 2008 N14 engine by the way. I'm not sure of the compatibility for other years / engine models.
This Accessport was an amazing tool that brought the little Mini to life. I used the Stage 2 91 octane map without an intercooler, but all the other maps are there. Stage 0 - 3 and the various different maps for different octane gas and TPS.
This will be coming with the OBD2 wire to connect the acessport to the car which is all you need to use it. It is also unmarried so it’s ready for it’s new owner. It’s a simple plug and play tuner!
I’m asking $500 shipped anywhere in the USA. Local pickup is also available for cheaper if you are near Bakersfield, CA

I ran this with a K&N Typoon Intake, DIY intercooler water sprayer, CNT V3 catless downpipe, secondary catalytic converter delete, resonator delete, and replaced my muffler with a straight pass through muffler.
This was using the Stage 2 91 octane Accessport tune. I never used Stage 1 or 3. I have heard even with a stock car the Stage 1 is a good differance.
With the Stage 2 tune it brought boost up from 12psi to 20psi and Air / Fuel ratios stayed where they should be. It added launch control at 4500RPM and brought the Revlimiter up to 7000RPM instead of stock 6500RPM. Gas mileage stayed the same when I drove it on the highway but in the city I had a heavy foot haha!
I never dyno’d the car so I do not have WHP numbers, but with my Autometer DashLink is measures what the ECU was telling it in terms of power. I saw a max of 284HP so I would imagine it was around the mid-200 whp range.
The car was pretty quick without the tuner, but it was a whole
new car with the tune. Even without intentionally spinning the tires, It would chirp the wheels all throughout 1st gear and the start of 2nd gear. Had I wanted to keep the car sticky tires would have been next on the list.
I wish the Alta Accessport was usable on other cars because I would just keep it. It even works as a engine code reader and tells you engine parameters like temperatures, boost, etc. It’s an amazing tool for sure.
Yes you can use it on a stock car. It has the Stage 1 maps on there. I sadly have no experience with it so I can’t tell you what you should expect to see power numbers wise. My Mini always had an intake and catless downpipe when I used it. I’ve heard good things from stock stage 1 Coopers though!
