Hey all,
Finally upgrading my car's turbo, and though I am reluctant to get rid of my beloved AP, I think a new turbo setup warrants getting a custom tune. So I'm basically just selling to fund my new Manic tune from Mario Plaza. It will come LOADED with tons of maps, both for JCW's and MCS's, as well as some others that I had made before it became hard to acquire new maps. I was seeing about 270hp and 299lb ft with my stg3plus tune and all the necessary mods, so you certainly can too (and my god is it fun).
It's really a great tool to have, and you will essentially have a tune for every possible setup and fuel type (100 oct too), as well as whatever other maps you can find in AccessManager.
I just heard word of a tuner in Salt Lake who still uses AccessTuner software and could make you new tunes, and if you ask around on NAM or scroll through the AccessPort thread, I'm sure you can track them down.
My car is currently with my mechanic getting the new turbo done, and the AP is in the glovebox, so I will post pics of it as soon as I have the car back. And of course, it will be properly unmarried before it's shipped out, because it's pointless otherwise.
Anyways, that's all from me until I post pics. Whoever gets this thing will be having a hell of a good time, and you'll be giving your Mini's bigger cousins a huge run for their money on the track (or highway, shhhh)
