What’s wrong with your headlights, are the covers cloudy, scratched, or actually broken?
I’ve never seen actual cover/lenses sold separately for replacement. You might be able to find a used broken assembly for cheap with a good lens and do the swap by disassembling the headlight using the instructions for the “Joey mod”.

I hit a deer and he cracked the pass. headlight cover, rest of the car is fine, nothing a little buffing can't take care of.
What would be a Joey Mod. for my headlight?
My plan is to heat up the trim to soften adhesive holding the cover to the headlight assembly and then purchase some sort of glue that would stick and seal the cover.
What do you think?

The Joey mod is where you take the headlights apart to paint the inside trim. There are a lot of threads and some YouTube videos of the process. It’s the same as what you’re thinking with heating the lens to soften the seal for removal. Some people put the entire headlight in the oven at a low temp and others use a heat gun.
Do you have xenon lights or headlight washers?

I briefly looked into it in the past for the face-lift xenons, and it looked like the covers were the same for the xenons and halogens with the only difference being washer vs non-washer. You might be able to use any passenger side cover with a washer for a replacement.
It’ll probably take a while to find a bad light with a good cover for cheap, then after the work to swap out the lens and possible sealing issues in the future, you might just be better off finding a good used replacement headlight assembly to use.

MC40 Edition came standard with Xenons. Headlight lens is not available separately, you’ll need to find a complete headlight housing.
Maybe try Allmagautoparts.com they specialize in MINI.
(I have a complete pair of 2002-2004 Xenons available, but only available as a set.)

The pre-facelift xenons are a bear to remove the lenses. You bake in the oven at 350 for 10-15 min, then gently pry. The glue Mini used 2002-2004 was a very hard cement that does not get soft when heated up. Its called permaseal. I was very patient with my set and ended up melting the housing (housing will melt before the glue, lol) and the seam that the lens goes into gets misshapen.
I think its more trouble then its worth personally. I would just look for replacement headlights on ebay or NAM. Pre-face xenons are only 100-200, and you'll have an extra set of ballasts. You can also upgrade to facelift xenons for $4-500.
Just my .02. You might spend $50 getting a new lens only to find that after prying for 2-3 hours its ruined.
