Seems like my turbo has blown and it's time to get another one as soon as I can seeing as my mini is my daily.

Go with stock as that will be the easiest and fastest for you to swap in and get back on the road. Also you can make plenty of boost with the stock turbo as we have some customers that have made of 20lbs of boost and more than we need. And just go with a new one as used is going to have half or more of it's life already used up.

Check out the turbo labs of America hybrid 50mm kit! Came with a billet 50mm compressor side wheel with the housing and matching pressure plate, only $260 and grab a rebuild kit if it's not too trashed. Just finished this in my R56 JCW after the same problem.

HOw does that work for balancing if you're doing it yourself?

 

Looking to replace a JCW turbo as well waste gate is starting to make a noise
