Excellent Condition Alta CAI System, black with black silicone hose. For manual transmission Supercharged MINI. Comes with two ALTA filters also like brand new ( always had a clean one on the shelf ready to install ). One red one black. You will not be able to tell difference between new ones and these. Always cleaned with their products.

It has been in for over 7 yrs. now and still functions flawlessly. Tank refills are $16.00 dollars appx. At that time, the cost of the kit was about half it is now....

It definitely does what it supposed to when an R53 has been modded for 18lbs of boost. Having a top mounted IC is not the best location as it's like a frying pan over a fire, so recovery of any IC without typical pressure drop you see in larger intercoolers is where its at. GP Intercooler fits that bill in that department. So adding the CRYO2 was just something to make it even better.

Few years back, I modded the upper radiator hose with thermal tube insulation and my own custom diverter to aid in heat soak reduction/deflection. I can park, go into the store now for 30 mins and come out with only a 20 degree increase of CAI temp. so that helps. When I get up on the road moving along, a few shots of the CRYO2 and it's back to normal temps of 8*-10* above ambient temps.

There's a micro-switch attached to the throttle pedal. At WOT runs the CRYO2 system will automatically dump it across the IC. Also have manual button to dump it. I also installed a white deralin type shift **** with a red SPST button to manually shoot a show spray out the pass side Orciari cowl vent for a little animation.

At the cost of what want they want for them now ? I can think of some other mods to do for over a grand to increase torque, like tweaking the upper cylinder head with porting/polish.....
