Took the paintable skirts into a local family spray house and was charged half the price the stealerships wanted and very pleased with the results.
Just a couple of heads up for the R57 owners the following clips are required for re-installation of both sides I did not get all these in the kit :-
16x Mfg # Red Clip 51717127742.
2x Mfg # Black Clip 07131480419.
4x Mfg # Yellow Clip 51717127743.
16x Mfg # Black Expanding Clip 07130702966.
18x Mfg # Black Expanding Rivets 51118174185.
8x Mfg # Exterior Rocker Molding Fastener 51711496621.
Set of instructions that came with the kit highlights the need for extra Red clips for the R57 and no mention of the yellow ones.




The very first clip reqd under fender front arch is 1x Black Clip 07131480419 followed by 8x Red Clip 51717127742 and then the 2x Yellow Clip 51717127743 that will secure the side skirt to the car sill.
The bottom support sill laying on the ground uses Expanding Rivet 07130702966 to attach to the bottom of the car sill



The Red and Yellow clip allows for the thicker sill on the convertible, They have a bigger gap between the back of the clip and two prongs. The black ones were a struggle to push into the sill because of the smaller throat.



The bottom of the JCW Aero sill attaches to the support sill using black rivets # 51118174185



Top of JCW sill in the doorway uses Exterior Rocker Molding Fastener 51711496621

This is a great addition to the mini but make sure you have all the clips otherwise you will be driving around with just one door sill attached untill you get the extra red and yellow clips
