Hey all,

I have a WMW tensioner stop for sale.

I thought of using it on my old tensioner for insurance purpose but just decided to replace the tensioner as a whole.

The WMW site says they are re-designing this item and are not currently shipping.

There are plenty of other places to buy from as well. I got mine from Amazon, I actually paid less than 20 shipped from amazon

Oh crap, I thought that's what it said, either way it's the same design, the Alta one has a plastic cover now that stops the rattle.

no it's not the same design, I'm looking for the cable type not the thin metal thing that fails

They stopped making the cable because the cable style failed almost everytime.

that sucks, the thin metal ones fail too, so i guess there is no reliable tensioner stop

I've never heard of the flat metal failing, just rattling and being annoying until they started covering them. Mine doesn't rattle.

have you looked? Lots of threads about it, they vibrate and rub till they fail, pretty thin metal and a tight fit
