I have a brand new Bilstein B12 suspension kit for the R53. Includes Eibach Pro Kit lowering springs, which are now discontinued. This was arguably the best non-coilover suspension kit that was available for the R53. Bilstein HD Monotube Sport shocks were valved specifically for the Eibach Pro Kit springs and were designed with more travel than the oem shocks to accommodate lowering springs. Unfortunately the spring and shock combo is no longer available. Vendors now substitute in the H&R springs with the Bilstein HD Sport shocks which I'm sure is ok, but it's not the original kit. Waymotorworks sells the Bilstein HD Sport Shocks alone for $1050.00, looking to get $900 shipped for the full kit.

1r53, I would like to know how much this changes the dynamics of the vehicle? Is the ride similar to stock r53 or much harsher? Would it cause issues for alignment, camber etc?
