Up for sale is a like new Alpine Mini bluetooth speaker/receiver. This unit can be used if your Mini did not come with a built in bluetooth handsfree system. We used this in my wife Countryman that did not have bluetooth but recently purchased a 2015 4 door hardtop that has built in bluetooth. Thus, we do not need this anymore. Asking $40 paypal and shipping fees included.

 

How did you like the sound quality?

 

My wife primarily used it, but she thought it worked pretty good and the sound quality was good also.

 

does the skip songs work with this?

 

Not sure. We only ever used it for the hands free portion but I do know you can play music through your phone and pause/play the music.

I'd be interested if you can let me know if unit is capable of skipping and switching songs. How long does the battery last?

 

The battery lasted 12-14 hours on phone calls and I would estimate 200-300 hours on standby. It does not skip songs though. I tested the unit for this function and the only way I found to do so was activating Siri through the unit itself. Other than that the system works quite well for phone calls and music. There are several settings as well as volume output levels and it's very easy to use.
