Follow the link below...roughly $40 and I got mine in 1 day with non-prime shipping.

Just used this tool for my reduction pulley install...worked like a charm.

Nope. I just got mine last night. I used non-prime account. Just use the link pfanara posted up. It was a tad over 50 bucks after shipping.

Shipping on the original link is $18 for me, making it like $51

Shipping will vary depending on your location...just wanted to post a link for all those looking for this tool at a reasonable price instead of having to wait for a used one to pop up on the Marketplace or (god forbid) having to purchase one through a dealer.

I guess that makes sense, I didn't think about the fact that shipping might be different.

My next question, is it worth the $50 or so, or do I just stick a bar in there and a 16mm socket and cross my fingers.

I considered the same thing, but if you plan on doing any mods in the future, replacing accessory belt or need to replace the belt tensioner when it goes out (believe me...it will at some point), having this tool on hand makes life A LOT easier.

That's what I think I'm up against. I may do the stupid method to make my diagnosis this weekend, and get the tool ordered and on it's way. Thanks for the input, I'll take it to heart.

I just thought I'd add to this, every time I click on the link, the shipping charges jump around from $10-$18. It was $10 earlier, now it's $15. So maddening.

There is another one on that site for a little cheaper. I would post up the link but I'm on my mobile. . It is listed for a mini cooper w11 engine. . $15 shipping but still a smoking hot deal. . Same tool as the one I bought and a tad cheaper. .FYI
