The OEM torque arm mount is set in rubber to reduce vibration and harmonics, however it is too pliable and sloppy for the performance minded motoring. NM’s Engine Torque Arm Mount Insert is made of polyurethane and reduces engine movement allowing for quicker and more direct transfer of power from the engine to the wheels.

Help a MINI newb. What's the difference between the triangle and round versions?

 

Nothing. The early 07s had a triangle motor mount and all the ones after has the circle one. They are interchangeable. Not the inserts but the mounts themselves.

Unfortunately, it will not. For the R60, you'll need the circular version.
