Aem intake

Category: Drivetrain
Price: $330
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R56
Location (Region): South
Item Condition: Used

Pretty much brand new AEM intake up for grabs. Mounted it, drove to work a few times, then took it off. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, I'm just a noise ***** and will be looking for something louder. The scoop has the rubber seal installed, and the air box is ready to be dropped in. I replaced the AEM filter with a universal K&N filter, which was another 40.00 on my end The AEM filter is has a few bends here and there from trying to get it out without removing the top part of the box first. The heat shield is brand new, never even mounted that. Includes all hardware, instructions, and plate cover.

Asking 330.00 shipped. Most likely will be Fedex. Been away from the forums for a while, but since then I have built up quite a reputation elsewhere selling other goods and can provide all feedback upon request. We can talk about payment methods later, shoot me a message if interested.

Practically brand new, with an additional 40.00 filter, there is nothing to work on.

Have a few questions

I'm looking to do the same thing to my 2012 S, but I live in Boston and our rain storms, can get Real. Are there any worries for something like this getting wet and messing up the motor?

And sitting in traffic, with no air moving over the scoop does it breath well or has the effected the mpg.

Really want to add this to my car but would like to here from someone who's tried it first to see if it's worth messing around with?

I've had this intake for my N14 engine (basically same design) for over a year now. And its been one heck of a year for weather here. Near record snowfalls. Record flooding. Record rains. Ect. Ect.

In fact, this last week there was a night were we got over 4 inches of rain. I drove in that storm. No problems what-so-ever. But if you're still worried, they do sell a filter sock for just that reason.
