Alta Adjustable Tensioner Stop

Category: Drivetrain
Price: $80
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R53
Location (Region): Midwestern
Item Condition: Used

I have an Alta adjustable tensioner stop that I bought a month ago, installed it, it didn't fix the ticking noise, so I pulled it. It has zero miles on it. I paid $100 for it shipped so I will do $80 shipped to the main 48. I will get pictures up this Friday. Let me know if you are interested.

Thanks!

A lot of controversy on this item. Some say the stock tensioner is self adjusting for a reason and that this item has to continuously be adjusted manually to keep proper belt tension, others say the thing works great and is the best protection for a possible tensioner failure.

True. Most, if not all who've tried have no complaints. Only drawback is periodic tension adjustment. Something that's not really difficult.
Check newer cars. Most now have eliminated tensioning devices & are using stretch fit belts. Subaru has been doing this since 04.
