Fake engine noise - volume adjustable?

When I switch my MCS to Sport Mode, the volume of the fake engine sound is increased. While I don't like fakeness in general, I do like that engine sound and would be happy to make it even louder.

Can the volume of the fake engine noise be adjusted (upward)?

Fake engine noise is evidence that cars are losing their soul.

Yep, when I got my FR-S the very first thing I did was remove the 'growl' tube.

With ESYS, there's a way to activate the ASD Configuration Menu in the HU_NBT, however I haven't yet tried it so I can't verify what it does yet. The details are in the "cheat sheet" document.

*edit* I just read in the F30 Reference guide that the ASD Config menu doesn't work, however that document was last updated a year ago, which was many versions of ESYS and PSdZdata ago.

Reading through a number of BMW forums on the ASD. No one has managed to adjust the volume. The sound from the head unit passes right through it so you would imagine there is some to change the volume. The ASD unit is the same in both audio configs and in my experience with putting in different amp the sound increases with more power.
What I'm trying to say is that HK and Non HK will have different outputs so there must be a way at the factory to change the settings....somewhere...otherwise the HK cars would have a louder "fake" exhaust sound.
