i don't think the r50 springs fit on a r53. since the r50 sits higher then a r53 which will have a greater drop then a r53 spring, also the r50 spring has a tighter bend on top which does not fit the upper strut plate on a r53..

 

I'm just reciting what OutMotoring's website says.. I am not the most car savvy individual so excuse me if i made a mistake but like i said i am just reciting them.

whats the part number on these springs? it should say on the box somewhere or if they come with instructions/information booklet. interested in buying these not for my mini but my girlfriends. just wanna make sure theyd fit and arent for a r50

Interested I drive an r50 2004 base

 

almost 100% sure these will only fit a convertible car.

the cooper s and standard cooper's part numbers both start with a 5.

 

confirmed these only work on 05-08 verts multiple sites list them at:
05-08 Cooper Convertible and 05-08 Cooper S Convertible H&R Sport Springs 29192-1
