The CRM can happen when both you and the MINI are ready (and Mother Nature also)... there isn't any set time limit; just give us a rough schedule so we can plan ours.

The best way would be to load FA into your current set up now, drive it around and perform some logging... this way, we have a good image of how your car is running currently and help you trouble-shoot if something looks abnormal.

In addition, this would give us the basis to build a "Base 550cc map" (which you can load into the ECU so you can drive the car after the BVH/Cam upgrades)

For our CRM, we don't need a dyno... but do require AFR reading. The AFR kit is a permanent install on your MINI (goes before the main CAT), and this actually a very valuable tool for the R53s as they age IMHO.

We also offer another value-added service to our customers at no extra charge...

For the older car, your ECU is most likely a couple of SW updates old from BMW. If you want to have it up to date on the latest SW, send us your ECU, we can upgrade it to the latest version using our BMW Tool, then load FA onto your ECU and send it back along with your entire order.

Unfortunately no... b/c the Uego uses a different serial protocol that's not currently supported by FA.

BMW Updates: It's always good practice (if possible) to have the latest updates on your ecu.

Pre-existing tune: when we have you ecu on the bench, we can "update the 512k rom" - which in essence wipes out your current tune.

Injectors: What brand and size of injectors do you have? We only support the oem, JCW 380s and the Bosch 550s (OE 6-hole units).
