there are a number of cables out there, not all are the same. could you post a pic and a link to the original source? TIA, and i'm an interested buyer if this is the right cable.

 

The seller I purchased this cable from about 2 years ago does not exist anymore. It was purchased for $130 shipped. Pictures of the cable are attached. It comes with a adapter to plug into the car to work correctly.
