is the 2010 tpms frequency the same has the 2013's?

I have the sensors he was trying to sell on my 05 now and I've decided to keep them on the wheels. So these are not available for purchase. Sorry, my tire guy says to keep them on because they're more durable then replacing with rubber ones.

I will go against what your tire guy says. The stems are aluminium and the pins get rusted into the stems if you don't keep them capped. So keep them capped. Also use the plastic caps because the metal caps also rust onto the stems. As long as you keep plastic caps and capped you'll be fine. (I own a tire shop)

Thanks for the reply. I did notice when filling the tires with air it was difficult to get the air in. I will get some plastic caps. He said more durable but the fact it was hard to inflate did concern me...
