I purchased a Craven Speed "Mini Dipper" dipstick on here last week. It arrived today and it is about an inch longer than my stock dipstick. I drive a 2008 MCS. The Craven Speed part number is CRMC 0630-B which according to their website is for a R56 (2007 to 2013) so I am guessing that means it is for a non "S" model.

I paid $60 for it and it was new from the seller. I installed it to check the fit and noticed it was too long. Therefore I am going to list it as used and sell for $45 shipped (in the US). It will come in the original cardboard tube shipped via Priority Mail.

I just bought a new one on Amazon yesterday (MINI Cooper S Dipstick Upgrade Hardtop 2007-2014
by CravenSpeed) and it listed these models as using the same dipstick.

"This Dipstick is designed to replace the OEM Dipstick in all Second Generation MINIs only. It will fit the following standard "justa" Cooper and turbo charged Cooper "S" models:"
2007-2013 Hatchback
2008-2013 Clubman
2009-2013 Convertible
2011-2013 Coupe

Kind of odd that it's the wrong length.

 

I saw the same thing on craven speed website. All minis.

 

If I remember correctly the one you got was the older plastic version right?

 

Yah. I'm not interested in he older version. I want the stainless spring version.

 

Just purchased the newer one on Amazon.

 

I did not know there were earlier versions. This one appears to be fiberglass or some type of composite that is very flexible and it has a red aluminum head. Let's do $30 shipped.
