Attention Generation 1 MINI owners, this is made expressly to fit the bonnet intake scoop. (Generation 2 owners please contact me privately).
Easy to install - no additional hardware necessary - simply requires removal of four fasteners that attach the plastic scoop shroud! (I also have them available for those who do not have their shroud installed.)
SCOOP-GUARD is made one at a time, from 3003 grade aluminum, in the same diamond pattern as in the COOLER-GUARD. Photos of COOLER-GUARD can be found at www.Cooler-Guard.com.

There are color photos and easy-to-follow instructions done in the style of my "Girl Guides". THE ONLY TOOLS NEEDED ARE A PHILLIPS-HEAD SCREWDRIVER AND PLIERS. Easy-peasy!
Gen 2 owners, a SCOOP-GUARD will be available soon for you, too. It will be made of 3003 grade aluminum and WILL NOT WARP in high heat! Once available, installation photos will be up for you as well...

SCOOP-GUARD (as well as my other products) are made in the spirit of MINI owners everywhere, who want to
personalize their car with different combinations of colors - or not, as the case may be...
You will NEVER see the words "comes in Black or Silver only" on any of my products! (Not that there is anything wrong with black or silver!)

Since you had removed the plastic shroud, the SCOOP-GUARD I made for you was "custom-made" and a bit larger; the installation for yours is more challenging, since the plastic shroud is what holds it in place in the opening...
For others reading this - the SCOOP-GUARDs I have for sale are designed for owners who have kept the plastic shroud in place; the installation instructions can be found at my website: www.SCOOP-GUARD.com. It is VERY easy to install!
The Gen 2 SCOOP-GUARDs will require their own type of fitment, which I am working on
