Forge Motorsports Front Strut Brace

Category: Suspension
Price: $150
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R50, R52, R53, R55
Location (Region): SouthEast
Item Condition: Used

This unit is SOLD.

Up for sale is one beautiful front strut brace. As you can see it is engraved with the mini logo as well as cooper s wording. I used it for 3k miles then traded my car in for a JCW r52.

This brace is made by Forge Motorsports and is rare and well made. Look at the pictures and let me know if you have any questions.

I saw the same one on ebay, it's actually made by Forge Motorsports. Not very common and not cheap:

a few questions

Did this bar give you any clearance problems with your hood (err bonnet) - I've read (and seen) where the m7 bar did not allow the hood / bonnet to completely close on some MINIs (left a small gap)
Did you notice any difference in handling / feel of the car with it installed?
also ~ is it in "as new" condition? scratches?

thanks in advance

if terryb237 backs out - please let me know

Brian

Do you have to tighten the hinges every now and then?

No, I never had to tighten the hinges. This is a pretty stout unit. I only had it on for 3k miles and it was very solid when I removed it.
