I just got back, its 1:49am.

I had a blast! Seriously. This was a great deal of fun and the food at Anthony's was terrific ! ! ! It was great to meet new people from the board and old ones that I haven't seen since JTR. Loved the "geek-tastic" comment about my space invaders sweater!

Will there be another Jackson Car show + Anthony's meet at the end of October? If so I'll make plans to make it to that one.

 

Had a good time last night during my short visit. Good to see everyone.

 

Had a great time at Jackson and at Anthonys after great time and great food. Thanks Fred for setting things up in Jackson and thanks Chris and Jen for the food.

Well, Freddy...you put on another "great one". 13 Minis showed up, which is the best showing we've had in the past 5 months. Keep up the good work, and as always the "eatin" part was great with thanks to our hosts Chris and Jen.

Thanks but I can't take the credit. All I did was suggest it 2 years ago. The credit goes to everyone who has shown up since then. We have all met a great bunch of MINI owners since then and had a great time to boot.

OK "MINImainiacs" here are the details for the "Drive-N-Eat" SMASHED PUMPKIN PIE RUN (Hey, I figured I would come up with a name for it.)
Friday Evening October 23rd.

Meet at the Jackson Outlet Mall between 6:30 and 7:00 PM. (Exit 16 off I195, Rt 537) I have mapped out a run that is about 1 1/2 hours long thru the local country side. All back roads. And you might be surprised!

We will end up in Hightstown at Anthony's Chicken and Grill (or maybe Hamilton, we ain't sure yet).

The Car shows at the Outlets are done for the season.

 

The Jackson Outlet Mall Car Show hosted by the "Old Fossil Car Club" of South Jersey will be returning April 30th 2010. This car show runs the last Friday of each month through October.

For the past few years a group of Mini owners have used this occasion to get together and hangout. Why not come on out and hangout. Afterwards we headout as a group and get something to eat and hangout some more.

Watch this thread for more details as they develop.

 

I just might be in town for this little gtg. I'd love to meet up for this.

 

The group will not meet meet at Jackson Outlet for April because:

We met on 16 April 10 and some people will be going to MINIs ON THE DRAGON.

 

Bummer man...Dorothy wanted to bring out "Smart Bitsy" (Itsy's sister). So are you saying that we're not allowed to go over to the outlet mall on April 30th just because MOTD is going on?

 

I hope everone who can go to the car show does. It is always a fun time.

are you the same Killerfox on Gruppetitan? I've met a few guys on that forum and they've all said good things about your MINI.

 

Well, at the present time I am pretty sure that Doroty and I will be there just to keep a "MINI" showing in our normal location. Dorothy is going to bring "SMART Bitsy" and she has a close friend that also has a Smart car that is giving serious thought to coming out with us. Us Mini owners are going to have to keep a close watch on these SMART owners or they might take over our location next to the Disney store!

If anyone else is sitting on the edge about showing up at the Jackson outlet mall this coming Friday... it's supposed to be a nice +65F evening, so why not show up and display your Mini with us in front of the Disney Store this Friday (April 30, 2010) while the rest of the NJ crew is down in VA doing their "DRAGON" thingy!

If you are in to the Drive-N-Eat thing, we can all meet at "Tommy's Restaurant" which is right around the corner from the Outlet Mall on route 537.
