The dealer called and they think I have a blown turbo. They are sending pictures to MINI engineers to find out what to do next. I don't think I will get any more info until monday. So for now I guess I'll just have to drive my M3 for a while.

 

Any News Yet? Gosh... you still don't have your MINI?

 

latest update, dealer replaced High Pressure Fuel Pump and cleaned out carbon from motor. Now they say I need an Engine Wiring Harness, a water pump, and fuel level sensor. May take a week for parts to come in, so no car for another week. who knows, they may find some more stuff after the new parts come in.

 

WOW so sorry it's down for that long... but I have to say I'm not feeling all that bad that you only have an M3 vert to ride in while you wait!

 

Mark your calenders 9-24-2010 for the next "Jackson Outlet Mall Car Show".
Last month we had quite a turnout from the MINI community.

This month we will be returning to Antony's Chicken and Grill in Hightstown. And we will be taking a different route to get there. (This route does not include Chris's driveway )

And all you new MINI owners out there, come on out and show off your MINI.

This is the last "Jackson Outlet Mall Car Show" for 2010.
We will be returning to our "Friday Night MINI and a Movie" format for October.

Don't think we're gonna make it tonight, we going tomorrow to the Ocean Grove "Brits on the Beach" tomorrow with the TR6 and still have some stuff to get ready.

Well Cast & Crew here is the news of the season about our usual Friday Night G2G.
The location has Moved. See the attached link for more information. But in a nutshell it is no longer at the Outlets. It has moved to Hamilton, NJ on Rt 130 to the Shops at Hamilton.

The dates are the same, the last Friday night of the month starting in April.

Gee...it just doesn't seem the same! I met all you guys the very first time out at the Jackson Outlet Mall...will sorta miss the ole spot...although it has been getting to be quite a hassle to find parking the last several g2g we had out there. As for this upcoming g2g, its up in the air right now. Dorothy has a meeting up in North Jersey and she's not sure what time she will get back from that. If it turns out to be a reasonable hour we'll be out. If not, well then ... the next time.

Start gathering around 6:00pm.

Don't forget, this is a new venue!
The Shops at Hamilton, Rt 130 NB. It;s about a mile south of I195. And a little tricky to get into if you are coming from the north. If you are coming from the south, it's a snap.

There are a few places to eat in the complex or we can go for a run and grab a bite somewhere else. There are a number of diners in the area or maybe an evening run to Tony Luke's for cheese steaks!

So, Who's in?

 

I should be in town so we will be there.
