There is a car show on the last Friday of the month at the Jackson Outlet Mall. The mall is located at exit 16 of I195 (Great Adventure) The corner of rt537 and rt571.

The show is held in the middle of the parking lot and is open only to American made cars pre1970 (or there abouts).

It would be awsome to just have as many MINIs parked together in the lot as possable. Sort of a MINI invasion. The times are 6:00-9:00 on Friday August 31st. (yea its Labor Day weekend)

There is usually a large number of Hotrods and Classic Cars of all descriptions. And I have seen some imports in the lot. I saw a Sunbeam there last time.

There are a couple of places to eat around and there is plenty of shopping for those so inclined.

Fred seems like we have stired some interest on the NEMINI boards.

 

Ok, So where are all these MINIs from Jersey that want to come out and play??? MINIs, go for a ride, talk MINI, look at cars, go for a ride, get some eats, . Sounds like a lot of fun. Not an all night thing, unless you want it to be.

To tell the truth, I have no idea.:impatient I know I will be there and Mr Jim is sceduled to appear, and a friend who is not on NAM is coming. There have been others from NEMINI who express an interest.

What a crowd, We were battling SUVs for parking. Did not consider the "Back to School" shopping frenzy.:impatient Oh Well. All kinds of cars to see. The Oliver Tractor with a V8 and headers out the top was something to see and hear. And there was a few imports there as well. I just love those Jaguar E Types We had a good time anyway. The pix not much, it was taken in the parking lot at Surf Taco afterwards. Next month we are going to do it again.

And yes Sherry, you can see the purple in the black paint.

Just want to bring this thread to the top.

 

I'll be there this time....trying to get there around 4:30 to try and save some spots.

 

We had a nice little turnout last night. Only 3 MINI's showed, INIMINI and Tobats and myself. We had a lot of interest from the public. A few MINI owners came by (they were MINIless at the moment) and we talked well into the night.

Next month, Friday the 29th.

 

If I am around, I will be there! Look for the Purple Haze Cabrio Mini!
