Hi Meg!

Good to hear there's another MINI coming to Howell - Mine's almost 7 years old now and there are precious few in our little town.

The Friday night thing at Jackson Outlet center goes along with the classic car show they have there. It runs from April thru September on the last friday of the month. Sometimes they also do one in October. The people who run the classic car show have all the details about that on their site:

We show up with our MINIs, always pacrking near the Disney store starting around 6pm. Then we browse through the classics for a while, and then drive up to Anthony's Chicken N Grille in Hamilton for some food...

Hey Paul - I'm happy to bring another mini to Howell. Yeah - I've seen one so far in our town on Georgia Tavern Rd.

Just checked AskMini and my baby should be born on August 26th so she's almost done. God - can't wait for her to actually be here which probably won't be until mid to late September.

Unfortunately, I'll be in AC this w/end and in CA the last Friday of September. Guess I'll have to wait for the gathering in October but at least by then I'll have my new baby to show off.

Well, mine is Electric Blue (a light metallic blue) and my wife's is Silk Green (a light metallic green) - if you see us, give us a wave. I've also know of an art teacher in one of the Howell schools that has a red-on-red Cooper S - and I met a guy in the sears hardware parking lot that had a red/red Cooper. You're will surely be the first Horizon Blue car in town!

So gang are we going to have more rain on Friday or might we grt lucky and have nice weather. I am hoping for nice weather.

I guess it all depends upon how much faith you have in NOAA. I was listening to their broadcast last night on my way back from the Linden Starbucks meet and they seemed quite sure that we would have rain & possible thunderstorms showing up Friday afternoon & evening. I saw a post from "Frantic Freddy" over on NEMINI and he points out..."...Now lets not talk about the weather,OK". So going along with Freddy's request I will tell you that even though we had a lot of rain last month, we still had a very nice gathering at the outlet mall and an addition 3 Minis showed up at Anthony's. So having met with Chris last night at the Starbucks gathering, I can tell you that he is looking forward to a nice showing at his restaurant (Anthony's) Friday evening. Chris and his wife always put out a fantastic spread for us Mini owners on the last Friday of each month. So based upon the above I would say that it's a win-win situation regardless of the weather. I look forward to meeting with you again on Friday.

By the way, after I looked at your seat covers...the following day I ordered the same covers for my Mini and I just received an email today indicating that they just shipped. Unfortunately there just doesn't seem like there's any way I'll have them installed before Friday...but they will be installed by the next "Jackson Outlet Mall meet".

I know the weather doesn't matter, but would be nice if it was nice. Congrats on the seat covers. I just got the new wheels and tires for my Mini on Tuesday and put them on Wednesday, what a difference the bigger wheels and tires make in handling. Looking forward to seeing everyone again on Friday.

I am going to the shore this Friday night but probably long after you guys disperse from the jackson mall. If I'm brave enough to leave earlier I'll think about stopping by.

Well It's Friday end of the month and of course RAIN But all 2 1/2 of us will be there about 6;30 pm C U There .

Rain again, but didn't stop us die hard Mini owners, we had 7 Mini's last night then over to Chris and Jens for food where we meet 4 or 5 others. Good time as always, thanks to all who came.

Another end of the month Jackson Outlet Mall GTG is behind us now, and as can be seen from the postings above, the rain showed up right on cue. This timie the rain just served as a humorous point of discussion for those Mini Owners who showed up for the meeting at the Outlet Mall and our enjoyable evening of food and discussion at Anthony's later. Once again our thanks go out to our hosts Chris, Jen and "Isie" for their hospitality and fine food which was the perfect ending for our Mini gathering.
The rain put a little damper on my outdoor photos, but I did manage to get a few pictures inside in between the Jalapeño poppers and corn fritters!

Thanks for the great pics again, we will get some someday where it is not raining. Look forward to seeing everyone again in September.

Yes and again the MINIs showed up! While we were there we even provided a service to the collected shoppers in the mall providing directions on how to get home since the highway was closed due to an accident. (Not us)

Ans as usual we had a great time. Good friends and good conversation with the benefit of good food too. What more could you ask for?!

Here is hoping the rain stays away next month.

Nice picture, I'm surprised that many showed up due to the rain. Hopefully it doesn't rain next time.
