Saturdays at Hendrick MINI

Hendrick MINI in Charlotte has invited M2C2 members to stop by on Saturday mornings from 9:00am to 10:30am for coffee, tea and donuts.

The invitation is for every Saturday morning not just one. I know not everyone will come ever week, but I am sure their will be different members stopping by on different Saturdays.

Thanks again to Ed and his staff.

To help get this started I will be stopping in this Saturday.

Wish I could join you, but I've got a trip to Charleston next Saturday and the M2C2 get together in Charlotte the week after. I think I will stay home this one.

The first Saturday Morning at Hendrick MINI was fun. They had plenty of coffee, tea and donuts in their customer lounge. Two M2C2 members were already there at 9:00am having their MINIs serviced. A third member showed up later for some service issues. The service and parts will be open from 9:00am until 5:00am every Saturday.

I had the opportunity to meet and talk with 2 new MINI owners that had taken delivery of their MINIs just a few days before. Both of the two have decided to join the club.

All of the staff at Hendrick MINI is helping to promote M2C2 by passing out our cards and telling MINI owners and soon to be MINI owners to stop by on Saturdays to meet some M2C2 members. It would be great to have a member or two stop by for an hour or so each Saturday morning to say hello to new MINI owners.

Look for a special announcement from M2C2 about additional discounts from Hendrick MINI for M2C2 members.

Hope to see a couple of members next Saturday morning.

Thanks George

Hey, Trainman --

I'm going to try to be at Hendrick this Saturday (Dec. 4); Why don't you be there, too? Maybe we can even get Kevin to join us in meeting the folks at Hendrick and the MINI drivers in the Charlotte area.

I am planning to join you all at Hendricks this Saturday. I'll be motoring down from the Asheville area with LJinNC. If there are any others from this area who would like to join us email or PM me.

Thanks for making the trip down this Saturday. It will be great to see you both again. Since you will both be coming down together, what can we do to talk you in to going home by way of Winston Salem for lunch? After lunch we want to go over to Flow and say hello.

Thanks for your support.

I hope a few more Charlotte MINIs will join in.

Just in case any of you need to resupply Zaino stuff, there will be a detailing clinic on 12/4 at Import Paint for the S2000 crowd. Any who missed the "Mini Clinic" are welcome to stop by and see what goes on. We are scheduled jam full with S2000's so you won't be able to participate, but you are still welcome to ask questions or replinish your stock.

Closer is better, but only up to a point; I don't want to be living in a suburb of Winston-Salem, y'know! How about where Shelby is now? Would the people in Shelby mind becoming Winston-Salem? The folks in Winston-Salem might like it, too: They'd be closer to the mountains.

I suppose it'd be easier to move you than to move Winston-Salem. But we'd still have to worry about that city.

Can't make it.. Trainmama decided this was the weekend to have a yard sale with the neighbors! Not to mention other activities that require my presence..

Please stop by. We should have 3 or 4 and maybe with this post 1 or 2 more.

The staff at Hendrick has been great about telling future MINI owners and current MINI owners to drop by on Saturday to meet someone from the club. We have had only 3 Saturdays so far being there.

I just got my Mini on Friday in Winston. I was looking for a time to stop by Hendrick and introduce myself and my Mini as they will be doing my maintenance. Saturday sounds like a great time to do it!

So, where in Charlotte is Hendrick MINI? It might actually be a little closer than Flow for me if I can get to it from US 64 since I am on the western side of Wake County.

Hendrick MINI is located on Rt 74, Independence Blvd. Now that I485 is open, you could come down I85 to I485 and take it to Rt 74 to Hendrick.

Their service department is open all day on Saturday. If you can come down on a Saturday morning we should have a few club members there from 9:00 am to 11:00 am or longer. Hope to see you there.

Here is the link to Hendrick MINI.

Saturday 01/15/05

We had 5 members stop by last Saturday.

Welcome to Sharon and **** who joined this week after visiting last Saturday.

Welcome new member Jeff, who joined this week.

Congratulations to Basset who stopped in with his new Chilli Red MCS.

Loren stopped in to see his new Black on Black MCS that went under the screwdriver this week to receive it's JCW engine and suspension upgrade. I can't wait to see it after it receives the areo kit and custom JCW wheels.

Stop in this Saturday and help us plan our next Charlotte chapter event. We will be there from 9:00 am until 11:00 am or later.

Thanks
George
