As it's only about 2 weeks away, I thought a reminder might be in order.... not to mention a question. Last I saw, we were talking about doing this at the Baby Moon. Is that final or has someone located a "better" place? Even though I'm in the middle of relocating my store here, I'm planning on coming up. Who else is going to make it?

 

I'll be there Bob! I'm in the middle of buying a house too, so I'll be there. I think that we were going to try the Baby Moon Cafe and see how it accomodated us, but I may be wrong.

Chris, if we are using them, do you want me to call and set up the reservations after finding out who all is going? Hopefully we'll get more than last time!:smile:

First off, would help if I had the right name of the place, it's Baby Moon Cafe and not Blue Moon Cafe! Can I say DUH!

To get there, it's a straight shot down 40. Just take 40 all the way to the Airport Boulevard Exit, sorry, but I can't remember the exit number, I'm better with street names! You should make a right at the end of the ramp, unless it loops you around, then you will make a left, but I really do think that you'll be making a right, but don't hold me to it! Anyway, the best bet is just to head away from the airport! Anyway, after heading in the right direction, the place will be on your right, yes you will pass Hooters and some other restaurants. Look for Jerusalem Drive, it will be on your right, and turn there. It's a little strip mall of some sorts. Once you turn onto Jerusalem Drive, I'm trying to remember, if you go straight into the parking lot or not. It's the only thing there, so it's not too hard to find. There's a sports bar and grill there that faces the street, Baby Moon is on the same side as the Remington Grill, actually, it's next door!

If I remember correctly, it's exit 284. Go South on Airport Blvd away from the airport. (No loops). You'll go past Texas Steakhouse and the Cracker Barrel. Baby Moon Cafe is about a half mile on the right.

Now I wish I was still working up there.. Why couldn't you guys have done this 6 months ago???

BTW, What Hooters?? It wasn't there before..

 

They have built a Hooters there! They did it just after you left because they thought you would be there too much! Just kidding! It's almost done too! So it shouldn't be long before it's open!

Cool, thanks for the exit number. I rarely am coming from that way to get there. I'm going to try and take a different route this time! ACK! Wish me luck, I may get lost myself! I'm being adventurous and taking 540!!! WOO HOO!

Anyway, when you get to the end of 540, take 40 east 1 exit, take a right at the top of the ramp. (Don't take the airport loop)

Oops, I just realized I have a homeowners association meeting that night so I will most likely not make it. If it is short (yeah right) I might swing by toward the tail end but most likely I'll have to catch up with y'all next time.

 

I'm going to call and make a reservation for 10, providing that they don't charge us for the extra seats. I'd rather have a little extra seats than not enough! I'll take care of this tomorrow after lunch time! Providing I can stay awake long enough! Where's my tired face when I need one???

Reservations have been made. Took care of that at the end of hte day yesterday so I wouldn't forget. I made reservations for 10 people, but as of now, there are only 7 of us going to be there. We will not have to pay for the extra chairs if they don't get filled.
