Volunteers are needed for the Auto Show at the Charlotte Convention Center -November 19th - 22nd. The schedule is attached for volunteer slots. We can have 2 volunteers per slot. Volunteers are also needed to drive Mini's up and back to the Convention Center.

Shirts will be provided by Hendrick but you must contact Dana Fredricksen at 704.566.2517 or dana.fredricksen@hendrickauto.com to let her know your size quickly so she can order them.
The shirts will be black with a blue stripe. Please wear black pants to go with it. You can pick up your shirt and lanyard for your badge at the dealership prior to the show.

Free entrance/volunteer badges will be provided at the Auto Show's Office at the Convention Center.

 

What day/time are people needed for moving the MINIs from the dealership to the convention center? I may be able to help with that.

 

I left a voice mail for Dana with your question regarding transporting cars. It's usually the day before in the afternoon. Luke has done it and may know, but I will post after I hear back from Dana.

 

What would we be doing at the show?

 

You would be standing around the Mini's and answering any questions people may have; tell them you are not a salesperson, just a Mini owner/enthusiast and let them know how much fun they are to drive.

After you finish your shift, you are free to check out the rest of the show.

 

You get to stand around and talk MINI to everyone that asks. Basically you answer any questions you can and hand out literature. If you are not sure about something just say so and mention that you are not a salesperson, just an enthusiast from a local club that volunteered. It is alot of fun.

So I will take the morning shift on Sat. 10am to 2pm. I should also be around to shuttle cars on Sunday evening.

 

Chris and I will do the Thursday night 6:00 - 10:00pm shift.

 

I'll do Thursday 12:00 to 3:00. I'll let Dana know today.

Sorry just got back into town and saw the post. I can help take and return cars. Also can do most any shift where needed. Prefer morning but can do most any just where you need someone. I need 1XL in british size or XL in our size. Most XL in dealership will not fit. Sunday 10-2 will be great and I can still help get the cars back.

 

Well. I need to change my time from 12:00 - 3:00 Thurs. to Fri. 6:00 - 10:00. I am not available Thursday.

 

You can put me down for the 2:00-6:00 shift on Sunday.

I was just at hendrick mini today and talked to Bryan A. about joining the club. He gave me an application for the club and I was wondering if I should still mail it in or bring the application with me to the show. I'll be there friday from 12-10. Thanks =]

 

We don't have anyone from the club that is scheduled to be there at that time. It would be better to mail it or come to one of the other functions and bring it with you. Look forward to meeting you.

 

Please let us know about helping get the cars down there. Went to Eye Doc today got to go back thursday due to increase Pressure. Would still like to help if it does not conflict with eye doc.
