Orde's of England! I know a number of folks from M2C2 joined us last year at Orde's of England in Greenwood, SC, and we're looking to fill up the yard again this year as we celebrate MINI turning 50!

We'll be there from 11am to 2pm. For those who haven't been to the area, Greenwood is about an hour south of Greenville, and about a two hour drive from Charlotte. We expect media to be on site, so make sure your MINI is ready for pictures!

(Did I mention there will be cake? )

 

Had a great time there last year. I will try and make it and hopefully John will be along as well.

Sorry but have to bail out. Cataract extraction and implant surgery friday the 18th. I really wanted to come to this, but I guess eyesight comes first.

 

Best of luck with the surgery. I will be sure to have a pint for you!

Thanks John but surgery friday and follow up saturday morning 9:30 so I don't think I can pull it off. Have a Scotch for me, since I know you don't do pints. wbarnhill is going to take care of that for me.

Good to hear! We're working through this last week to get the word out, and I'm contacting the local media tomorrow, so make sure your MINIs are cleaned and dressed to impress!

Surgery postphoned but have been sick with sinus problems and maybe even the flu? I am iffy at the most, but really would like to make it if I feel better.

First, thanks to everyone who managed to make it down, Orde's loves having us and this event was just perfect!

Great time; great turnout (28 cars, I think); great food. Thanks for all the hard work. Always great to meet new MINI friends and see some old ones. Thanks again; look forward to seeing you all again.
PS: Look under Smokey MINIs and consider coming up to BOO in Gatlinburg. It was a blast last year and I'm sure will be fun again. Your MINI finally gets to dress up for Halloween!

Yesterday was a lot of fun, wish I had been there last year too to enjoy it! Only disappointment was they had no Haggis to eat!!! Great place though, reminded me of some pubs in England and Wales I've been to!
