Hi guys...

As you know I just got my mini lovingly used so it's got a few road marks on the front that I would love to touch up a little.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to get some Chili Red Touch Up paint...I just have one or two little dings that I want to fix.

I got a couple cans of spray paint and tested them under the hood. I found one that was good for small rock chips.

You have a computer ??

Know how to use google ?

Try this: www.morristownmini.com

They have the lowest prices of any dealership in the country. And their service is great.

Hendrick Mini on Independence Blvd. or you can check with Loren at Import Paint and Body, also on Independence. He does a lot of Hendrick's work and has repainted or touched up both our Mini's (he is also a Mini owner).

Here are some paint code numbers for chili red. I was doing some touch up yesterday with the Autosharp pen and it died on me way too prematurely. So I commenced a search for touch up paint (in a 2 oz. bottle) and it can be easly found on a search. I found that prices vary by $5.00 and that shipping can be up to 50% of the purchase price. FWIW. So I finally decided just to pick some up at the dealer next time I'm in KC.

Their prices are lower until you add shipping and then it's the same as our club price at Hendrick here in CLT.

Remember they make 4 (four) shades of Chilired, pepper white and electric blue and one other I can't think of off hand.

Has anyone found "off the shelf" spray cans that are close in color to Chili Red? I have some accessories to paint. Local dealer only has touch up pens. Thanks!
