Cola-Town MINI No-No

As most of yall know I had to have some body work on my lovely Pearl over the summer. Well I took it to John Harris Body Shop in L-Town ( Lexington for you newbies) Well after two weeks of work that was supposed to take 3-4 days I got Pearl. I wasnt to happy with the work, but they fixed it and I could tolerate it, the problems were under the hood, wrong wiring and such. Then we fast forward to today. I was washing pearl, and I was poslishing my lower chrome grill. The slat fell off . They had just slapped it on there, didnnt use the double sided tape, which happened to already be on the slat. So I dont recomend using John Harris if your are unfortunate enough to need a body shop.

I guess I works out though, I was planning on blacking out my grill with vinyl, and this just makes it easier

Yeah, the owner said to stop by tomorrow, and they will take a look at it, and make sure everything else is up to par

Hey Big Guy if you paid to have it fixed, or even insurance make sure they do it right.

Yep. Don't let 'em get away with it, that's what they want. Hold 'em to fixing it the way it was before, nothing less!

OK OK
One Jaba the Hut comparison and I'm never going to live it down. Of course Yoda can hide behind Jaba, but watch out where you sling that light saber of yours!!!

Took Pearl to them today, the owner looked at the car personally and found another issue, the Outside Temp sensor was just hanging, not mounted where it was supposed to be. He took the car for the day and fixed all the issues I had, wet sanded out the runs in the paint, and sprayed Clear coat again. ( I think thats what he did), took the bumper off, and re-wired everything. Looks very good, now. He even had the me dropped off at home, and had Pearl delivered to me at home. He was very unhappy with having to be put in the situation.
