Lighting mod in Charlotte
A few of us got together after the carshow and were mulling this idea..
A rally lighting mod.. What we thought we could do, is meet at Bruce and Cathys on a saturday which I am think of January 19th 2008. Charles did his own lights, so he offered (co-erced, same thing kinda , ask Cathy I can sell ice to eskimos), to help us learn how to install the lights. I am posting this early to see who might be interested. Not only are we installing the lights, but we are going to do a frostbite bbq!! It would be a bring a dish to pass, and whatever meat you would like to bbq.. work on the cars, eat, see everyone and enjoy an afternoon of mini madness!!! so if your interested I posted this early, so people would have time to find the lights they would like, and get everything they would need to install!!! Even if you already have lights on your car, it would be great if you could attend!!! please post here if you have ideas, or can think of a better date..

Hey
I missed you all as well. It seems I ate something that doesn't agree with me at present or a virus has decided to inhabit my body. I didn't think you guys needed to see me like that. Soooo I am hopeful for the 15'th. I am going through MINIac withdrawal. Hope to see everyone soon -- minus the virus

Bruce... I got a reply for my car starter...
Subject Remote start ..... Starter doesn't disengage as quickly as it should.Question 2005 Mini Cooper. Autopage Remote start system pofessionally installed 1yr ago. Mini reset computer to reset gas mileage estimator. Now the car starts remotely, runs 10secs, turns off, restarts and the starter runs and extra 2-3secs before disengaging....then it repeats this same scenario with the starter running longer and not disengaging as quick as it should. Help!Answer Go back to the remote start installer and have them reset, reprogram the immobilizer bypass that they used to remote start your Mini C. When Cooper reset the computer, it may have lost the proper codes, which would account for this
reaction. After that, the Auto page should work as it did prior to the visit to MC.
Good luck with it.

So do you think you can help me?
