Cool... I was hoping you would say that!!! They referred me out to a shop here but I would so rather a MINI owner do it.

carol,
things would be easier if we didn't have to make brackets for the lights.
if they came with ones that were for the car.
i can come up with an idea for the brackets but i would need bruces help.
besides two lights would be better than those five if you were going to run with them on. just a thought.

So if we don't mod, we just cook and eat. Do we bring steak if we want one? I was thnking of donating a turkey to deep fry would that be o.k.? What else should we bring i.e. drinks, dessert?

We are really looking forward to this... and if your not modding.. well there might be stuff you want to learn.. or just an extra pair of hands to help.. and of course.. the thing this club does great!! is to hang out, share friendship and laughter!! please bring what you would like to drink as well, this will be so fun!

that bar is not designed for 5 lights.
why don't you use the bar with two outside lights and put the right tag in the middle?

Where to find lights

Greetings,

We're new members and will be coming. These are the ones we ordered are at:

http://www.minspeed.net/PIA.htm

Similar to the ones sold by MINI but a lot cheaper if you don't mind black powder-coated finish. They do come with wiring harness and brackets for the MINI.

Cheers and Happy New Year,

Floyd & Sharon
Hendersonville, NC

Email will go out thurs or friday this week, on NAM-- I don't have everyone's personal email.. but this will work!

I was also hoping greyshadow will post what exactly we need to bring to install lights.. ie harness, and of course lights but not sure what else we might need

I should be able to make this, not sure about modding unless Carol brings a certain sticker with her. I will bring something to eat wont say what yet but not BBQ just in case there is anyone else not into that besides me.

I am not doing lights but I will need something else done as well as Bruce fixing my auto starter!!

I need some red added because my hubby bought me some new toys for Christmas!!

I want to paint the calipers red. What kind of paint do I need to buy?

Hey everyone!! Just a few reminders!
Please if you don't know where this event is being held.. send me a msg or email.. hihocooper... we are not putting their private address out on the forum... so if your not 100% sure.. email..
Trace..
those lil goodies look so pretty... you may want to check though because I don't think the calipers will dry in time... last I checked it was a 24 hour turn around on them drying...

Ok..
now.. down to the good stuff..
Who's bringing what? I plan on making potato salad and baked beans.. please bring what you plan to drink, and what meat you would like to throw on the communal barbque.., i think luke said he was bringing a turkey we could deep fry... if so ill pick up some peanut oil...
so i am going to start the list and will add to it as you guys do..
Carol & David: homemade potato salad, baked beans and mebbe devilled eggs if I have time.. and chicken!

I was unable to send a message to the link given in this thread. Please e-mail directions to me at anteken1@gmail.com. I plan on bringing corn bread and any other goody y'all would like (I'm fairly good at baking rugelah, mandelbred and wedding cookies).

Thanks,

Sharon and Floyd
