Guidelines for Posting on m2c2.org
As we have alot of new members I would like to inform you of some simple guidelines. Our past Club Officers came up with following the NAM guidelines (https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/guidelines) and limit the post on the forum to club related news and functions. We did expand a bit to cover all MINI related subjects, as long as there was no cross-posting on other forums. While the cross-posting has sometimes been overlooked, we've adhered to the subject guidelines pretty closely.
The main reason these limits were imposed is to keep the forum from being flooded with threads that have no relevance to the club or its members. This was done to take care of problems that have cropped up in the past on our forum. Posts of that sort belong in the "Off Topic" forum section on NAM. Feel free to contact me if you have questions on this subject. Luther Shields, President

Luke, are you not set up for PMs? I guess I'm a little pissed, but if can clarify just what the crap you're talking about in reference to me. I believe all my posts fall within those guidelines, even when I didn't even know about the guidelines. Single me out if ya want, but you could have PM'd me with whatever problem you had with any of my posts.

Jason, quit knee jerking. The post had nothing to do with anything you've posted. Simply all post should be Mini or Club related. This was a post about a charity event and I am sure that it is a great cause but it had nothing to do with our Mini's or Club. It was pulled by one of our monitors and I have already sent him a email explaining why. Luke
No problem. Just didn't know what I had to do with anything. I try to be a good boy, I really do. (Now Dave on the other hand, that's a different animal.

Just remember to post your must be a member of the club in good standing and it has to be club or mini oriented. We (m2c2) are not as strict as NorthAmericanMotoring but we do have to draw the line sometimes. With that said, you must also be aware that someone is always watching you!
Is there any sort of way to find out if you are indeed "a member of the club in good standing"? Haven't heard from you guys at all, though you cashed my membership check over 2 months ago, and I would like to know if and how I can use any of the club discounts. Obviously they wouldn't do me any good if my year of membership runs out before I have any way of using them.
The dealership has a list of members for discounts. Also the club Secretary is a little behind and as you know some of us have to work for a living. We hope to give her some help in the next few weeks to get caught up. Sorry about the inconvience. Hope you can make the christmas dinner and meeting.
