Fine

Can some one remind me what FINE means? How did Wahlberg explain it to Sutherland in The Italion Job?

Thanks.

The last 3 letters of the acronym "FINE" are...

Insecure
Neurotic
Emotional

I think you can figure out the first one... involves the forbidden word.

Colour me "easily confused"! I was trying to figure out why someone was asking a newbie motorcycle question on a MINI board...

In motorcycle parlance, "FINE" describes the pre-start checks, and stands for:
Fuel valve open
Ignition on
Neutral engaged
Engine kill-switch turned off

(There's also a FINE-C version that includes the Choke in the list).

You sure you didn't watch the PG-13 version ?

Google "Italian Job FINE" and I think you'll read the R version.

In my DVD, it's

Freaked out
Insecure
Neurotic
Emotional

Although, I fully appreciate the other version that alluded to; I can't remember it in the movie. I guess I'll just have to watch it again!

Perhaps their were two editions of the movie created. I saw it at the theatre when it first came out and I'm pretty sure the naughty word was used. If you Google it, you can find both that word and "freaked out".
