We are using a custom shock.

The spring rate is 7KG/mm (approx 400 lbs/inch

I do not have the piston diamater as of yet

Not really to late. Now that the car's are getting a little older, and people are buying used etc, these products are still good sellers. I take my time on each product, and make sure that I am happy with the design etc, then I go into production. It's takes some time, and I think this will be a great product.

One that that other kits do not have is the integrated front camber plates. A product that I think is essential. Where others are charging 400 for that alone, ours comes standard.

When I have the prototype, I will get pictures out to you all.

Is the damp adjustment on the side of the casing for the rear?

Is it bound-adjustment only?

Are you going to offer lower spring rates for street?

It is only single adjustable,

The adjuster is on the top of the rear.

Depending on the demand, I may be able to have diffrent spring rates. What rate would you be interested in.

talking about spring rates... if you ask me i'd take 300 front, 350 back... maybe even more bias to the rear... something like 275/350 would be awesome

Thanks dan.

As far as springs, I think I want something near the H-Sports so
about 250lbs/in area? maybe 300lbs/in max? Are these linear rate
springs?

I like the fact that it comes with pillow mounts so I don't have
to dissassemble my current setup just to install it.

Would you be willing to do a "street version" with:
1. No front camber adjustment.
2. Pillow mounts front and rear.
3. Spring rate 250lbs/in to maybe max 300lbs/in range

and be about in the $700 ball park? or even less?

I am working with megan to create the Pilo Racing Coilovers. though they are being built to my spec, and design.

I will be testing every thing, tweaking spriong rates, and then I will be having my final design made.

Sounds interesting and very silmilar to the D2 and Ksport coilovers currently on the market. Both of these systems offer a choice in spring rates.

I'm interested to know in the total length of the damper and how much adjustability the camber plates and lower mount offer.

oh well, i guess i'll look at the KW's again.

Adjustments on the side is just a totally diffrent ball game when it comes to building shocks. Unfortionatly, It's something that only a couple mfg's can do. It would be nice, but I feel that for the price and featurs offered, this will be a nice setup.

I am not aware of an actual DOT Approval Process for Suspension. Have you checked to see if other suspensions are dot approved, before making that comment? I know there are DOT Approvals for Brake Lines, Head and Tail Lights, as well as tires.

I did a little research on the RSX forums - it's sort of a mixed bag of opinions on the Megans. They're mostly in competition with Tein SuperStreets and the D2's that I posted about earlier. A budget coilover which gives a decent amount of performance for the money. Once nice thing about the Megans is that if it includes the upper pillow ball - it would place it just ahead of it's competition. But if your serious about tracking your car - they suggested saving your money for a higher quality coilover - ex. Tein Flex Line or Tanabe - probably the Bilsteins in our case - since we lack alot of JDM manufacturer support for our cars :(

I don't have a bottomless budget like some peeps on this forum so I'm looking forward to what options are gonna be on the table in the next few months before I lay my hard earned money down.

As for being made in China - I think alot of items asides coilovers are being farmed out to China, Taiwan, HK - whatevers. In fact some JDM companies market - "made in japan" - gee kinda like "made in the USA" on their sites to keep rumors at rest.

nuff said for me
