I got a problem. im lookin to start autocrossing, and i am still on my S-Heavies and Pirelli euphori@a runflats. Im looking fot a solid set of rims and tires, not too expensive though. Does anybody have any good ideas? BTW im running a stock MCS, and would like to maintain a stock wheel size. Thanks!

For autocrossing in stock class for the MCS you'll do better using 16x6.5" wheels with stock wheel offset of about 45mm to 50mm.

See

Best options right now are AK Monzas for the price and lightweight- but they might not be in stock yet- see Randy Webb.

Also the stock X-lyte rims are good and light. See if you can find some used. Good weight and price plus a stock fitment.

Tires can be Falken Azenis Sport 215/45-16 or similar.
You can talk to Alex@tirerack.com about various tire options that would fit rims 16x6.5". Let us know what you choose.

Thanks JeffS.

AK Tire Monza 16" Wheels
This wheel is a strong and light 16x6.5" 44mm offset, which makes it legal for any stock class in SCCA or BMWCCA. The Monza weighs a mere 13.9 lbs, and the open spoke design assists with brake cooling. Avaialble in silver and white.
Price: $155 silver, $165 white

Note similar design to SSR Comp classic 6 spoke pattern
