I am joining the ranks here!
Hey all,
I just placed my order for a Jet Black on Black Cooper S! I dont have a production number yet, hell I am excited just to get that!
I have a pretty good story about my purchase.... I stopped at MINI dealer with my wife last Sat morning to see if a child seat would fit in the back of a MINI. (this is not the primary kid car, just in case). We determined it should fit OK, got talking to the MA and mentioned I needed to trade in my leased pickup. They checked with a few of their wholesalers, one of whom had a buyer waiting.. RIGHT NOW. So I sold the truck and ordered a MINI. (Still can't believe the wife allowed this to happen as we have 2 yr old twins, MINI are not exactly "family cars")
So now, I have no car, but I do have my MINI on order. Hope to take delivery in May. They told me to check back with them next week to get a VIN or production number.
By the time the car arrives I will have a pile of go fast goodies waiting to be bolted on and will probably know more than I care to know about the car thanks to this site!

I also have a Blk/Blk MCS on order with the anthracite interior and headline, silver wheels, etc.
It will also be arriving in May at Classic. I have a pretty great road trip scheduled, as I will be taking "Sparky" back to Yakima, WA.

I have to ask, why Classic? (Not saying there is anything wrong with Classic, thats a long way from home!)
