Good Day, go for a ride, throw 3 yellow icons :1) little yellow triangle 2) little yellow tire icon & 3) little yellow car icon with arrow pointing @ LR yellow tire. I assume the TPMS in LR tire is done. When I go into Vehicle Status & measure tire pressure the pressure is fine. Does this sound about Right ? I need to order a new TPMS for tire & break tire down & install. Does anything have to be reprogrammed or does it do that automatically ? Thanks

 

what year is the mini? Not sure about the icon.

 

Alright a Human ! my F-56 = 2015 with Nuespeed 18" rims. It looks to me like the TPMS is threaded & just screws into rim. Eliminating removing tire, just throw socket on TPMS, back 'er out, spin in new one & fill air lost. IMO the 3 yellow icons will fade away, fingers crossed. I might go to MINI Parts just to get part # & advice. WAS THIS LINE EASY TO SEE ON F-56 PAGE ?

Haven't yet, it's been good but WILL DO to scratch off list.

 

I checked Brake Fluid & it was barely under MAX. All I need the little silver air nozzle that screws into rim with 10-11mm socket above the little silver round gasket with the TPMS bulb on it. Looks like cheapest I found was Outmotoring for about $80.Sound about right ? I assume a functioning part would turn off my 3 yellow icons 2015 F-56

I went to Mini & they changed my oil, AND they turned off the Yellow Icons (all 3) NOW I have no idea wether they'll stay off or not. I asked them how much to switch out $90-$185 part in tire. They said $35 SO, I'm curious as to wether or not the Icons will stay off. It does seem strange that the Air Pressure & signal work on TPMS but the icons came on ? any thoughts ? '15 F-56

 

I went back to Mini & asked WTF ? They went through the Radio & Reprogrammed Hazard Lights, apparently there was nothing wrong with Tire Valve Insert (TPMS) SO, I sit with another spare part !
