I have a 2007 Cooper with about 8,000 miles. Recently, my flat tire warning lamp (red) came on. First, there are no visible signs of flat tire, second tire pressure on all 4 tires are same. I do not have run-flat tires. Should I go ahead and reset it according to the manual on p.55 or take it to the dealer and have them take a look at it ? Any recommendations ?

 

I have had mine come on when there is no problems. You could take it in if it is under waranty. I just reset mine and go on with my life...

My low tire pressure light in my 4Runner has been on since New Years...


..nothing wrong with the tire pressure in any tire

 

Just put a sticker over it...
I would just reset it, if it comes on again, and it is not your tires, I would have it checked out.

 

p.s. I really like your license plate frame...haven't seen that one before! I may *may* steal it
