WARNING! Check your tire pressure!
I recently checked my tire pressure because I just replaced one of my runflats due to a flat and wanted to make sure they were all the same. First I checked the new tire. It was at 39lbs a tad high. Then I checked the other front tire and it was a tad low at about 32lbs. No biggie. Then I checked the back right tire. 15lbs! Omg I said to myself. Filled it up. Checked the other back tire and it said 13lbs! Holy cow. WTH is going on.
After replacing the new tire my tire monitor came on and I figured it was a problem with the rim being slightly bent causing the monitor to trip. It happened a couple more times and both times I reset it after sight checking the new tire. Guess I was wrong. It was one of the first hot days here in Jersey so maybe that contributed to some of the loss in pressure I dunno. But check your runflats here and there. Funny thing is that it must have been gradual because I didnt notice it driving. My gas mileage increased since filling them up too.

i had many days over the winter with 13-15 lbs. of pressure in the rear tires. just like you didn't really notice it in day-to-day driving around town. check for nails because i thought it was just due to the extreme cold here in combination with New York/Westchester potholes, but after two monthsand refilling with air twice i finally went to a Mavis tire and they sure enough found a nail in my tire. be careful!
Yah, once a week is a good routine. I follow it too.
Also, measure it while the car is cold in the garage. If your car is
parked outside, check the shaded side first and compare the psi
difference between the front and rear of the non-shaded side.
Should be about 1-3psi difference between shaded and non-shaded.
